Ⅰ、 Specimen preparation

1. 10 ml of mixed urine was put into the urinary sediment tube and centrifuged at 1500 rpm / min for 5 minutes.

2. Discard the supernatant urine, residual urine and sediment about 0.2ml, shake and mix well.

3. Take the smear of mixed urine sediment and examine it under microscope.

Ⅱ、 Recommended procedures for microscopic examination of urinary sediment

1. Measure the volume of shaken urine to be centrifuged

2. Standardization of centrifugal time and speed

3. Standardization of urine sediment volume remaining in test tube

4. Standardization of sediment for smear

5. Standardization of cover glass, magnification and field diameter

6. Calculate and report sediment composition (/ ml / UL)
